This person will act in the interest of the Property Manager and will work closely with the construction and site teams to ensure that major renovation and CRR projects are being completed in a timely fashion. They will communicate progress and issues between both parties and coordinate displacements as necessary. They will assist the site in preparing RFPs, develop scopes of work, complete the competitive bid process and assist the sites with creating contracts. This includes tracking and expediting the construction and repairs, review, approval, and creation of repair contracts, as well as the thorough examination, approval, and processing of associated invoices. The Project Manager will track CRR projects to ensure they are progressing as intended, and assist with resolving issues as they arise. Additional duties include assisting the sites with creating 5-year Capital plans, researching new construction products and methods, vendor development and negotiating expenses across all sites. Negotiating with insurance adjusters and contractors to obtain approval of insurance funds to cover the cost of mitigation and repairs. Works closing with the VP of Facilities, Insurance Claims Administrator, Regional VPs and Regional Facilities Directors to complete mitigation and repair projects.
