The Executive Home Community Manager is responsible for the oversight and care of the Flag Officer and General Officer homes and their families. Under the direction of the Assistant Community Director/Community Director, this role ensures that these residences meet the highest standards of excellence and discretion. The Executive Home Community Manager delivers white-glove customer service, meticulous property oversight, and personalized support to residents and their families. This position requires strong leadership, impeccable professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining an environment that reflects the prestige and expectations of the military’s senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and resident satisfaction of Flag and General Officer homes.
  • Provides personalized resident support, ensuring the highest levels of service, privacy, and discretion.
  • Manages community staff assigned to executive homes, modeling leadership and professional judgment.
  • Oversees staff hiring, training, evaluation, and development; administers progressive discipline if necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as military housing policies.
  • Reviews and audits lease files; manages reporting requirements, payroll, and resident records as applicable.
  • Oversees financial functions including receipts, deposits, and collections.
  • Conducts frequent, detailed property inspections with emphasis on curb appeal, landscaping, and executive- level presentation.
  • Coordinates with base leadership, housing offices, and community agencies as the liaison for executive homes.
  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests, make-readies, and other maintenance projects in executive homes, upholding LMH’s quality standards and resident satisfaction.
  • Provides timely and thoughtful follow-up on resident requests and concerns.
  • Performs quality-control inspections of vacant homes to ensure readiness and presentation at the highest standard.
  • Supports the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Required Experience:
1. Minimum of 2 years multifamily property management experience or equivalent in high-end residential, hospitality, or military housing management.
2. Minimum of 1 year of direct supervisory experience managing 2 or more employees.
3. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with senior military families while fostering a cooperative team environment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
5. Self-motivated with strong organizational, leadership, and customer-service skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines with professionalism


Required Education/Training:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
preferred.
2. Professional certifications (e.g., CAM, CAPS, or equivalent property/hospitality designation) preferred.
3. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to pass drug and background screening.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Yardi (or equivalent software), and standard office equipment.
5. Completion of all required Michaels Management Military Services courses and trainings

1. Commitment to discretion and professionalism when serving executive military families.
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide white-glove customer service.
3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
5. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff to consistently deliver exceptional service


Working Conditions:
1. Full-time position, with evening, weekend, or holiday work required to meet resident or operational needs.
2. Work occurs in a standard office environment, with frequent outdoor property inspections and event participation.
3. Physical ability to walk properties, inspect homes, climb stairs, and perform light physical tasks (e.g., lifting boxes, moving furniture, setting up for events)

 

 

Salary Range Information:

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
