The Director of Talent Management is a key role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that enhance teammate performance, leadership capability, and career growth across the organization. This role will drive the development and execution of talent strategies that align with business goals, including leadership development, succession planning, performance management, learning & development, and organizational effectiveness. The Director will partner closely with leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders to cultivate a high-performance culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

Responsibilities

Talent Management
● Design and implement the enterprise talent management strategy that is focused on engaging, developing, and retaining top talent to achieve our strategic priorities.
● Perform in-depth analysis of internal talent trends, gaps and risks to facilitate talent planning to ensure the business acquires, retains, and develops the right people, at the right time, in the right role to match business needs at scale.


Onboarding
● Develop a comprehensive onboarding strategy to ensure new teammates integrate seamlessly and effectively into the organization. Continue to monitor the program and its effectiveness to ensure the program is facilitating maximum productivity while aiding our new teammates.
● Seamlessly integrate cultural immersion, company and property history, standard operating procedures, and skill confirmation into a structured onboarding curriculum, guiding new hires through their initial 30/60/90 days with precision and clarity, and leveraging cross-departmental resources to ensure wide-ranging content


Learning & Leadership Development
● Identify learning and development needs within the organization through consultation with management and human resources.
● Recommend, identify, develop and execute learning and leadership development programs based on both the organization's and the individual's needs.
● Explore opportunities to optimize the functionality of the LMS by leveraging additional features such as groups, gamification, skill building and personalized learning plans to enhance learner effectiveness and engagement.
● Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to craft compelling and instructive content designed to address identified gaps and enhance the efficacy of training programs to resonate with diverse learner profiles.
● Manage vendor relationships, including the selection, negotiation, and coordination with training and development service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet organizational needs.


Performance Management
● Oversee and continue to evolve the performance management process driving consistency across the enterprise and emphasizing a culture of accountability
Succession planning
● Lead the design and execution of the enterprise succession planning process to build a leadership pipeline, preparing the organization for growth and improving the depth and breadth of internal talent and skills across the company.
● Drive development practices to accelerate successor readiness and retention including working on individual development plans, 360 assessments, and career planning.


Teammate Engagement
● Design and execute programs to enhance employee engagement, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, leadership, and other departments, to ensure alignment of employee experience initiatives with overall organizational goals.


Additional Duties
● Data/Insights: Analyze internal data (e.g. DE&I data, engagement survey results, etc.) and external benchmarks to provide insight and recommendations to business leaders, related to our culture, values and employee sentiment.
● Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in talent development & management, learning and development, employee engagement, and DEI to continuously improve and innovate programs and initiatives.
● People Leadership: Work alongside talent development specialists to develop methodologies and curriculum and program development, instructional design, knowledge management, learning evaluation and analysis, content curation and management, and learning technology.
● Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or liberal arts
  • Eight years related experience in a Human Resources corporate or business setting.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking, technical and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in creating and delivering L & D programs that were effective and impactful to employees/organization.
  • Ability to take initiative, create momentum and foster organizational change.

 

 

Salary Range Information:

 

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Salary Range

$125,000-$140,000 annual base salary
