Position will create, plan and run recreational and resident activities. Responsible for communication of activities to residents, and may assist residents in attending off-site activities as well.
1. Plan, write and execute community activities and events.
2. Write, publish and distribute monthly calendar of events and community/residents newsletters.
3. Marketing duties at local expo’s and conventions, represent community to the public and provide tours and information to prospective residents.
4. Drive residents or arrange resident transportation to various appointments and field trips.
5. Train, motivate and supervise volunteers who may assist in community activities.
6. Assist with office procedures, including answering phones, updating resident lists and directories and other business related activities.
7. Will assist with meal service for senior residents.
8. May perform other duties as required by the Community Manager.
Required Experience:
2 to 3 years current and related Accounts Payable or Accounting experience required.
Required Education/Training
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some post-secondary education in Accounting preferred
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Must demonstrate ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an Accounting team.
• Strong accounting aptitude.
• Strong work ethic.
• Strong independent problem solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office environment.
• Ability to be productive with assigned accounting tasks.
• Ability to be an effective team player.
Working Conditions:
Primarily an Office environment, must be able to work evenings when required to meet deadlines.
Salary Range Information:
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
